Viene a ser como si respir\u00e1ramos ox\u00edgeno puro a unos 15 metros de profundidad. Con ello se ayuda a solventar problemas m\u00e9dicos como la cicatrizaci\u00f3n de heridas, control de infecciones, pie diab\u00e9tico, mejora de heridas cr\u00f3nicas, sordera s\u00fabita, intoxicaci\u00f3n por mon\u00f3xidos de carbono y otras patolog\u00edas. Nuestro Hospital Universitario de Canarias (HUC), que ahora tiene como gerente al Dr. <strong>Eduardo De Bonis<\/strong>, cuenta desde el a\u00f1o 2008 con una Unidad de Medicina Hiperb\u00e1rica que en estos momentos depende del Servicio de Cirug\u00eda General y Digestiva &#8211; A, cuyo responsable es el Dr. <strong>Alberto Bravo Guti\u00e9rrez<\/strong>. Esta unidad est\u00e1 dotada con una moderna c\u00e1mara hiperb\u00e1rica multiplaza, propiedad del Instituto M\u00e9dico Tinerfe\u00f1o S.A.
