El mosqueo llega hasta el mismo clero, que no se corta a la hora de reclamar m\u00e1s inter\u00e9s y motivaci\u00f3n al Cabildo Catedral, que al parecer es de quien depende la organizaci\u00f3n de esta fiesta religiosa, en la que el Ayuntamiento solo debe colaborar, y eso hace. Este a\u00f1o hubo un mont\u00f3n de espacios vac\u00edos (casi toda la calle Ascanio y Nieves) y por no haber, no hubo ni una gran alfombra ante la fachada principal de la propia Santa Iglesia Catedral, de donde sali\u00f3 la procesi\u00f3n con el Sant\u00edsimo en la custodia, ni en el trozo de la calle Juan de Vera que va del Ateneo a la calle de La Carrera. Triste. Y es que lo f\u00e1cil es ir a pedir marmolina al gran <strong>Manuel De la Rosa<\/strong>, el querido y respetado <strong>Manolo <em>\u201cPatapalo\u201d<\/em> <\/strong>y no molestarse en \u201ccurrarse\u201d las alfombras con cari\u00f1o, como hacen en La Orotava (que este a\u00f1o hizo hasta una alfombra en Puenteareas) o en el palmero Corpus de Mazo. Solo con las parroquias, cofrad\u00edas, colegios, \u00f3rdenes y otras asociaciones religiosas laguneras, hay para llenar de alfombras todo el recorrido.
