Aunque el t\u00e9rmino en s\u00ed engloba a todo tipo de pr\u00e1cticas, es com\u00fanmente asociado a los\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alimento\">alimentos<\/a>\u00a0aceptables seg\u00fan la\u00a0\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sharia\">sharia<\/a>\u201d, o ley isl\u00e1mica. El t\u00e9rmino opuesto, aquel que expresa las pr\u00e1cticas \u00abpecadoras\u00bb, es el conocido como\u00a0\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Haram\">haram<\/a>\u201d. Entre los alimentos prohibidos est\u00e1 la carne de cerdo y, para que cuente con la certificaci\u00f3n Halal, la de oveja o cabra debe cumplir con un ritual y condiciones como que el animal no vea el instrumento con el que va a ser sacrificado o que en ese momento su cabeza mire hacia la Meca. Y por si no lo, saben, hay que decir que este tradicional ritual se respeta y cumple con una serie de animales en el Matadero Insular de Tenerife, que depende de <strong>la consejer\u00eda de Agricultura, Ganader\u00eda y Pesca del Cabildo de Tenerife, que regenta Jes\u00fas Morales Mart\u00ednez. <\/strong>Contado y aclarado lo anterior, debo decirles que la comunidad musulmana en Tenerife, que creo sigue presidiendo <strong>Hassan Acheb Benejemi<\/strong> y que conforman m\u00e1s de cincuenta mil personas, est\u00e1n de sabrosa enhorabuena.
