El a\u00f1o 2012, junto con su marido, el tambi\u00e9n empresario Ignacio Maluquer<\/strong>, crea Starlite, el festival boutique que cuenta con el reconocimiento y sello de Marca Espa\u00f1a, que tiene lugar anualmente en Marbella y que este a\u00f1o se ha internacionalizado con su edici\u00f3n en Ciudad de M\u00e9xico. Por el auditorio de Starlite han pasado artistas de la talla de Pl\u00e1cido Domingo, Julio Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, Marc Anthony, Alejandro Sanz, Paco de Luc\u00eda, Tony Bennett o Andrea Boccelli<\/strong>. Una de las grandes pasiones de Sandra Garc\u00eda-Sanju\u00e1n es su labor filantr\u00f3pica, que queda patente en los proyectos y ONGs que ha fundado y lidera, como \u201cNi\u00f1os en Alegr\u00eda\u201d que fund\u00f3 en 2003 con Alejandra Alem\u00e1n<\/strong> y que trabaja por la educaci\u00f3n de los ni\u00f1os que viven en extrema pobreza en M\u00e9xico, donde ha construido 12 escuelas y tiene a m\u00e1s de 3.000 ni\u00f1os escolarizados.<\/p>\n
