Me he enterado de que hace unas semanas la prestigiosa y luchadora Bodega Cumbres de Abona ha nombrado \u201cPresidente de Honor\u201d al incombustible <strong>Ricardo Melchior Navarro<\/strong>, quien fuera en su momento presidente del Cabildo Insular de Tenerife y actualmente de la Autoridad de los Puertos del Estado en la provincia de Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Nadie puede dudar que, en la historia de los vinos de Tenerife, habr\u00e1 siempre un antes y un despu\u00e9s de la puesta del primer plan vitivin\u00edcola de nuestra isla, promovido por el propio <strong>Ricardo Melchior<\/strong>. Por ello, en un entra\u00f1able acto celebrado en las instalaciones de la propia Bodega Cumbres de Abona ante un buen n\u00famero de amigos, gente del sector y autoridades, entre las que estaba <strong>Jes\u00fas Morales Mart\u00ednez<\/strong> (consejero insular de Agricultura, Ganader\u00eda y Pesca del Cabildo de Tenerife) <strong>Abel Morales Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong> (Viceconsejero de Sector Primario del Gobierno de Canarias) <strong>Mar\u00eda Elena Fumero Garc\u00eda<\/strong> (alcaldesa de Arico) y el exalcalde, <strong>Eladio Morales<\/strong>, un emocionado <strong>Manuel Marrero<\/strong> (presidente de Cumbres de Abona) entreg\u00f3 a un no menos emocionado <strong>Ricardo Melchior<\/strong> el pergamino que le acredita como \u201cPresidente de Honor\u201d. Felicidades a Cumbres de Abona, porque es de bien nacidos el ser agradecidos; y enhorabuena a <strong>Ricardo Melchior<\/strong>, porque el premio honra a quien se lo merece.
