Y sepan que nuestra isla cuenta con toda una gran asociaci\u00f3n de amantes a la cocina que, con la denominaci\u00f3n de Cofrad\u00eda Gastron\u00f3mica Canaria \u201cEl Mantel\u201d, est\u00e1 cumpliendo este a\u00f1o sus primeros quince de vida. El primer \u201cCofrade Mayor\u201d fue un vasco residente en Tenerife, Jorge Francisco<\/strong> Ballesteros Orive<\/strong> y actualmente el cargo lo ostenta el prestigioso m\u00e9dico oftalm\u00f3logo tinerfe\u00f1o, Javier Rodr\u00edguez Mart\u00edn<\/strong>, teniendo como \u201cCofrade Secretario\u201d a Javier M\u00e9ndez<\/strong>. Tienen en la capital tinerfe\u00f1a su propia sede con cocina a modo de \u201cTxoko\u201d, y se re\u00fanen en \u201ccap\u00edtulos\u201d los terceros viernes de cada mes donde cocina uno o varios de ellos. De vez en cuando salen a conocer restaurantes y, en esta ocasi\u00f3n, he tenido la oportunidad y el honor de ser invitado para compartir mesa y mantel (nunca mejor dicho) en lo que ha sido su Cap\u00edtulo N\u00ba187. Lo coordin\u00f3 el cofrade Pedro Fern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> en el restaurante Finca Salamanca, ubicado en el hotel rural del mismo nombre en G\u00fc\u00edmar, donde la chef Diana Marcelino<\/strong> al frente de su equipo de cocina y sala, desarroll\u00f3 un magn\u00edfico men\u00fa basado en producto de la tierra y el recetario tradicional con toques de creatividad. Gracias a la Cofrad\u00eda \u201cEl Mantel\u201d y… \u00a1buen apetito!<\/p>\n
