A mediados de los a\u00f1os 50, una inteligente y encantadora mujer, Mar\u00eda Angustias Ibarra y Jim\u00e9nez de la Serna<\/strong>, marquesa de Ibarra, conoci\u00f3 y se enamor\u00f3 en Madrid de un gran tinerfe\u00f1o (lagunero para m\u00e1s se\u00f1as) Diego Ben\u00edtez de Lugo y Ascanio<\/strong>, marqu\u00e9s de Celada. Cuando Mar\u00eda Angustias <\/strong>conoci\u00f3 Tenerife y entre otros lugares, visit\u00f3 el Puerto de la Cruz, vio c\u00f3mo los pocos turistas que estaban por all\u00ed, pernoctaban en el suelo y al aire libre. Cuando la mayor\u00eda de los tinerfe\u00f1os ve\u00eda solamente riqueza y futuro en el pl\u00e1tano, Mar\u00eda de las Angustias<\/strong> vio el futuro en el sector del Turismo y, junto con su esposo, se empe\u00f1\u00f3 en promover uno de los primeros hoteles que se construyeron en primera l\u00ednea de la costa portuense. Gracias a su iniciativa y decidida apuesta, el 8 de agosto de 1960 de inaugur\u00f3 el veterano y emblem\u00e1tico Hotel ValleMar. Durante los \u00faltimos tres a\u00f1os, Mar\u00eda de las Angustias <\/strong>y su familia, a trav\u00e9s de la empresa Altalay 7, ha invertido m\u00e1s de nueve millones de euros en la remodelaci\u00f3n, modernizaci\u00f3n y mejora del ValleMar, en lo que, sin duda, supone una renovada apuesta de Mar\u00eda de las Angustias<\/strong> y sus hijas, que hay que reconocer y valorar y que merece un agradecimiento p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n
