La popular chef Samantha Vallejo-N\u00e1gera<\/strong>, jurado del programa MasterChef y propietaria del prestigioso catering Samantha de Espa\u00f1a, estuvo el pasado lunes en Tenerife, impartiendo un interesant\u00edsimo curso intensivo sobre la actual cocina y \u00faltimas tendencias en el sector del catering, organizado por la empresa Masterclass Courses, que dirige \u00c1lvaro Amaya<\/strong>. Tuve el honor de presentar a Samantha Vallejo-N\u00e1gera<\/strong> en dicho curso y me pidi\u00f3 que, tras firmar ejemplares de sus \u00faltimos libros en El Corte Ingl\u00e9s de Tres de Mayo, pudiera rematar su jornada en Tenerife, compartiendo una cena en la que la protagonista fuera nuestra cocina canaria. Era muy tarde para salir de la capital tinerfe\u00f1a y optamos apostar por un valor seguro, el restaurante El Coto de Antonio, donde la cocina canaria sigue siendo la bandera del veterano y gran establecimiento que lidera Carlos Padr\u00f3n<\/strong> en la sala, con el chef Antonio Hern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> en la cocina. Los mojos canarios, las papas negras de Tenerife, una representaci\u00f3n de su majestad \u201cel puchero canario\u201d, un tremendo escald\u00f3n, unos huevos moles con gofio y un buen vino tinto de Tenerife, fueron protagonistas de una magn\u00edfica cena.<\/p>\n
