Esa riqueza se potenci\u00f3 durante a\u00f1os con la creaci\u00f3n y desarrollo del Plan de Gastronom\u00eda de Tenerife, que fue promovido en el a\u00f1o 1999 por el Cabildo Insular, siendo presidente del mismo el recordado Ad\u00e1n Pablo Mart\u00edn Menis<\/strong>, y que fue llevado al pleno de la Corporaci\u00f3n insular en el a\u00f1o 2000 por Ricardo Melchior Navarro<\/strong>, quien ya en mayo de aquel a\u00f1o ostentaba la presidencia, con Pilar Parejo<\/strong> como consejera de Turismo. Estoy orgulloso de haber sido uno de los tres creadores de aquel Plan, junto con los tambi\u00e9n respetados, queridos y recordados Manuel Iglesias Garc\u00eda <\/strong>y Jos\u00e9 H. Chela<\/strong>, que ya no est\u00e1n con nosotros.<\/p>\n
