Tras terminar su periplo de tres trienios (9 a\u00f1os y tiempo l\u00edmite estipulado que los rectores franciscanos tienen como tope en cada comunidad) <strong>Pepe Arenas<\/strong> pas\u00f3 al Real Monasterio de Guadalupe, en C\u00e1ceres (Extremadura). Tras cumplir igualmente all\u00ed su tiempo m\u00e1ximo, pas\u00f3 de Superior de la Comunidad franciscana a la de M\u00e9rida (Badajoz), capital de la comunidad auton\u00f3mica extreme\u00f1a, y p\u00e1rroco de la Parroquia de los Santos\u00a0<strong>Servando<\/strong> y <strong>Germ\u00e1n<\/strong>. Tras cumplir otra vez sus tres trienios en M\u00e9rida, ahora ha sido designado de nuevo de superior de la comunidad de los padres en Albacete y p\u00e1rroco de la Parroquia de San <strong>Francisco de As\u00eds<\/strong> en la Capital de la Mancha. <strong>Pepe Arenas<\/strong> ya tiene una calle con su nombre en La Laguna, donde no se le olvida. En Guadalupe (C\u00e1ceres) y en M\u00e9rida (Badajoz), como aqu\u00ed, casi se le venera. Le conocen hasta en Dallas (Texas \u2013 USA). Si Dios quiere y el <strong>Papa Francisco<\/strong> tiene buenos asesores (que los tiene), no me extra\u00f1a que muy pronto veamos a <strong>Fray Jos\u00e9 Arenas Sab\u00e1n<\/strong> con la mitra y b\u00e1culo de obispo.
