Por si no conocen la historia, la repito record\u00e1ndoles que el a\u00f1o 1983, un grupo de amigos palmeros se reun\u00edan en una zona del Real Club N\u00e1utico de Santa Cruz de La Palma que llamaban \u201cLos Alfaques\u201d y, cada s\u00e1bado, se un\u00edan al gran maestro <strong>Quico Concepci\u00f3n <\/strong>para ir con el grupo de \u201cLa Sabatina\u201d a pintar paisajes palmeros\u2026 Un s\u00e1bado se fueron de comida y vacil\u00f3n para Fuencaliente y, metidos en \u201csimones\u201d (l\u00e9ase unos buenos vasos de vino), desembarcaron en la playa de La Salemera, con sana alegr\u00eda y unas algas por la cabeza a modo de corona\u2026 Los ba\u00f1istas que por all\u00ed estaban les vieron con tan buena pinta, que comentaron\u2026 \u201c\u00a1tremendo desembarco de sirenas!\u201d \u2026 Y como \u201cSirenas\u201d les llamaron&#8230; \u201cSirenas\u201d se quedaron.
