La Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial del Movimiento Scout (OMMS) es hoy una confederaci\u00f3n de 167 organizaciones nacionales de scouts en una red con m\u00e1s de 40 millones de scouts en 224 pa\u00edses y territorios en todo el mundo. Como lo han venido haciendo desde que <strong>Baden-Powell<\/strong> los fundara hace m\u00e1s de un siglo, los scouts apuestan y tienen como objetivo la creaci\u00f3n de un mundo a\u00fan mejor, como mensajeros de paz en todo el planeta. Los scouts en Espa\u00f1a, con casi 100.000 miembros, son la asociaci\u00f3n juvenil m\u00e1s importante de nuestro pa\u00eds. Por su parte y con unos 3.500 miembros, Scouts de Canarias es la asociaci\u00f3n juvenil m\u00e1s importante de nuestra Comunidad.
