Confieso que tengo debilidad por la Joven Orquesta de Canarias (JOCAN) y admiraci\u00f3n por su impulsor, el gran director de orquesta V\u00edctor Pablo P\u00e9rez<\/strong> (del que soy su \u201cconcertino de carraca\u201d). El apasionante proyecto de la JOCAN une a j\u00f3venes m\u00fasicos de nuestras ocho Islas Canarias y, por segundo a\u00f1o consecutivo, van a protagonizar una serie de conciertos que les van a llevar el 1 de enero al Teatro Guimer\u00e1 (Tenerife), el 2 al Auditorio Alfredo Kraus (Gran Canaria), el 3 al palacio de Congresos (Fuerteventura) y el 4 de enero al Convento de Santo Domingo, en Teguise (Lanzarote). La JOCAN, con el maestro V\u00edctor Pablo P\u00e9rez<\/strong> al frente, protagonizar\u00e1n estos conciertos de A\u00f1o Nuevo en los que, como siempre, interpretar\u00e1n obras de compositores canarios como, en esta ocasi\u00f3n, \u201cBalc\u00e1nicas\u201d de nuestro paisano Juan Manuel Ruiz<\/strong>. Le seguir\u00e1 la \u201cSuite de Jazz N\u00ba2\u201d, de Shostakovich<\/strong> y, como plato fuerte, el \u201cP\u00e1jaro de\u2008Fuego\u201d de Stravinsky<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
