Debo reconocer que muchos pueblos de nuestras islas trabajan y se desviven para que se conserven y mantengan. Nuestra querida isla de La Palma, con la tradici\u00f3n de \u201cLos Divinos\u201d es un ejemplo de ello. En las islas capitalinas (sobre todo en las dos co-capitales) mantener ciertas tradiciones es a\u00fan m\u00e1s complicado. Por suerte en La Laguna y m\u00e1s concretamente en su casco hist\u00f3rico, declarado \u201cBien Cultural Patrimonio de la Humanidad\u201d por la Unesco, se conserva gracias a la semillita sembrada en su d\u00eda, hace ahora m\u00e1s de medio siglo, por el querido <strong>Hermano Ram\u00f3n Padilla<\/strong>, en el originario colegio Nava-La Salle, que este a\u00f1o, precisamente, acaba de concluir la celebraci\u00f3n de su primer centenario y que, seg\u00fan he podido saber por parte <strong>Carlos Alonso Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>, presidente del Cabildo de Tenerife, a lo largo del a\u00f1o 2018 que esta noche estrenaremos, le ser\u00e1 concedida la Medalla de Oro de la Isla.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/elcotarro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/FOTO-1.-HERMANO-RAM\u00d3N.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4930 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/elcotarro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/FOTO-1.-HERMANO-RAM\u00d3N.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/elcotarro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/FOTO-1.-HERMANO-RAM\u00d3N.jpg 450w, https:\/\/elcotarro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/FOTO-1.-HERMANO-RAM\u00d3N-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Estatua en bronce del Hermano Ram\u00f3n, promovida por la Tertulia \u201cPrimer Viernes\u201d, realizada por el escultor Fernando Garciarramos y hecha realidad por suscripci\u00f3n popular, que se encuentra en la lagunera calle Viana, junto al ayuntamiento.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lo he dicho mil veces y lo repito este \u00faltimo d\u00eda del a\u00f1o 2017: como perdamos nuestras tradiciones (sobre todo en Navidad) apaga y v\u00e1monos.
