Los antiguos alumnos de la promoci\u00f3n 1963-1973 cuidaron la \u201csemillita\u201d sembrada por el recordado Hermano Ram\u00f3n<\/strong> y la misma Navidad del curso en que salieron del colegio, el a\u00f1o 1973 del pasado siglo, fundaron la ya popular Pe\u00f1a \u201cEl Gofio\u201d y salieron a cantar villancicos por las calles laguneras con la tradicional Parranda de \u201cLo Divino\u201d. Un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s, y ya van 44 sin faltar ni uno solo, la Pe\u00f1a \u201cEl Gofio\u201d ha venido saliendo ininterrumpidamente por las calles laguneras cumpliendo con la tradici\u00f3n, cantando villancicos y, desde hace unos diez a\u00f1os, recuperando el sentido solidario de las salidas, recogiendo donativos a cambio de un cancionero de Navidad que ellos mismos editan. Ensayan desde noviembre en el Orfe\u00f3n \u201cLa Paz\u201d de La Laguna, gracias a la gentileza de su Junta Directiva que preside el incombustible Esteban Afonso<\/strong>. Salen a cantar tan solo seis veces y el dinero recibido (m\u00e1s de 2.000 \u20ac este a\u00f1o) ser\u00e1 \u00edntegramente entregado a C\u00e1ritas.<\/p>\n
