En esta quinta edici\u00f3n, el protagonismo lo ha tenido <strong>Ernesto Valc\u00e1rcel Manescau\u00a0<\/strong>(Tenerife, 1951), uno de los autores m\u00e1s controvertidos, vers\u00e1tiles y multidisciplinares de la pl\u00e1stica y la cultura contempor\u00e1nea canaria. Cuenta en su haber con m\u00e1s de cuarenta exposiciones individuales en galer\u00edas de gran prestigio y en instituciones p\u00fablicas canarias. Tambi\u00e9n ha expuesto a nivel nacional e internacional. Obras suyas se encuentran en Tenerife Espacios de las Artes (TEA) en Santa Cruz; en el Centro Atl\u00e1ntico de Arte Moderno (CAAM) en Las Palmas de Gran Canaria; en el Museo Municipal de Bellas Artes de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, etc. <strong>Ernesto Valc\u00e1rcel<\/strong>es acad\u00e9mico numerario de la RACBA y tambi\u00e9n destaca su labor como arquitecto, con m\u00e1s de ochenta proyectos ejecutados. El di\u00e1logo en el Bot\u00e1nico entre <strong>Ernesto Valc\u00e1rcel<\/strong>y <strong>Fernando Castro\u00a0<\/strong>fue una art\u00edstica gozada, como sigue siendo la iniciativa de <strong>Wolfgang Kiessling<\/strong>.
