Me refiero a la celebraci\u00f3n de la decimoquinta edici\u00f3n del Campeonato de Canarias Absoluto de Cocina. Desde la iniciativa del Plan de Gastronom\u00eda de Tenerife y con el total respaldo de los recordados <strong>Manuel Iglesias Garc\u00eda\u00a0<\/strong>(el pasado 6 de junio se cumpli\u00f3 el 7\u00ba aniversario de su fallecimiento) <strong>y Jos\u00e9 H. Chela<\/strong>, tuve el honor de promover este campeonato que ha cumplido 15 a\u00f1os y que, perd\u00f3n por la inmodestia, est\u00e1 reconocido como de los 3 mejores de Espa\u00f1a. Desde el primer campeonado celebrado el a\u00f1o 2003 y ganado por el tinerfe\u00f1o <strong>Esteban G\u00f3mez\u00a0Est\u00e9vez\u00a0<\/strong>y hasta este 15\u00ba de 2019 ganado por el lanzarote\u00f1o <strong>Gonzalo Calzadilla Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, m\u00e1s de 45 profesionales se han subido al podio, entre cocineras\/os y ayudantes de cocina. Pero en los 15 campeonatos han visto la luz, a una media de 47 inscritos cada a\u00f1o, casi 750 cocineras y cocineros han querido participar y 150 de ellos han sido finalistas.
