Recuerdo con emoci\u00f3n que en el Ateneo gan\u00e9 el primer premio que me dieron en mi vida, junto a mi amigo y compa\u00f1ero Pablo Reyes N\u00fa\u00f1ez<\/strong>. Fue en el Concurso de Belenes de 1970. Seguro que Alfonso Garc\u00eda Ramos<\/strong> (periodista director de LA TARDE), Ra\u00fal de la Rosa<\/strong> (escultor), Patricio Olivera<\/strong> (qu\u00edmico), Jos\u00e9 G\u00e1mez<\/strong> (empresario), Mariano Vega<\/strong> (periodista) todos ellos ex-presidentes del Ateneo y lamentablemente ya fallecidos, hoy estar\u00edan muy tristes. Hoy el Ateneo quiere resucitar de sus cenizas, por encima de protagonismos personales, ideolog\u00edas y partidismos. Y hay que ayudar a que as\u00ed sea. Y no vale decir que es una \u201centidad privada\u201d porque siempre ha sido y es de uso p\u00fablico. Y porque, de alguna manera y un poco gracias al Ateneo, hoy todos nosotros podemos gozar de libertad y vivir en democracia. Ojal\u00e1 impere la inteligencia de todos<\/p>\n
