El carril de acceso a ella desde Santa Cruz (junto a la terminal lagunera de guaguas) para los veh\u00edculos que quieren entrar a La Laguna, seguir hacia Geneto o dirigirse hacia el Teide es un tormento permanente. Tanto el Capit\u00e1n General de Canarias, <strong>Carlos Palacios Zaforteza<\/strong>, como los <strong>empresarios Mart\u00edn Garc\u00eda Garz\u00f3n<\/strong>(Montesano) o <strong>Juan Pelayo Duque<\/strong> (Egatesa) y hasta <strong>Jorge Marichal<\/strong> (presidente de Ashotel) saben lo que sufren sus camiones (militares o frigor\u00edficos) y las guaguas (sobre todo las de turismo con cruceristas) cuando, desde el puerto o la capital tinerfe\u00f1a, deben subir por la carretera de La Esperanza hacia arriba, para llegar a sus cuarteles, f\u00e1bricas o para visitar Las Ca\u00f1adas del Teide.
