Seg\u00fan ha informado la Oficina de Comunicaci\u00f3n del Mando de Canarias, que dirige como jefe el coronel <strong>Rafael Aguado,<\/strong> solo esta pasada semana ha desarrollado misiones de presencia y reconocimiento, de descontaminaci\u00f3n y tareas de desinfecci\u00f3n, adem\u00e1s de misiones de apoyo a otras fuerzas y cuerpos de seguridad del Estado y vigilancia de puertos, aeropuertos y lugares e instalaciones estrat\u00e9gicas. A destacar el helitransporte de dos equipos de formadores en descontaminaci\u00f3n de la UME por medios del Batall\u00f3n de helic\u00f3pteros de Maniobra VI (BHELMA VI) a las islas de El Hierro y La Palma. Para ello se han venido desplegando diariamente alrededor de 270 militares y unos 45 veh\u00edculos. Todo un despliegue que, una vez m\u00e1s, demuestra y ratifica la total uni\u00f3n de nuestras Fuerzas Armadas (incluyendo a la Guardia Civil, por supuesto) con la sociedad a la que sirve. El teniente general <strong>Carlos Palacios Zaforteza<\/strong>, puede y debe estar orgulloso y satisfecho. Tambi\u00e9n aqu\u00ed, en Canarias.
