Como les dije, comenc\u00e9 en el Diario de Avisos\u00a0<\/em>de la mano del bueno de Leopoldo Fern\u00e1ndez Cabeza de Vaca<\/strong>, desde el principio solo los domingos y siempre en la \u00faltima p\u00e1gina. Con la llegada del compa\u00f1ero Jorge\u00a0Bethencourt\u00a0<\/strong>a la Direcci\u00f3n de la hoy desaparecida La Gaceta de Canarias<\/em>, el amigo me ret\u00f3 a que El Cotarro\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>participara en el nuevo proyecto, d\u00e1ndole una dimensi\u00f3n regional a mi ya popular p\u00e1gina dominical. Y all\u00ed que me fui con el amigo. Pero el trasiego dur\u00f3 poco, porque el proyecto de\u00a0La Gaceta\u00a0<\/em>naci\u00f3 d\u00e9bil y termin\u00f3 cayendo muy pronto\u2026 Total, que de nuevo me abrieron las puertas en el Diario de Avisos\u00a0<\/em>y, en este caso, fue a petici\u00f3n de una gran persona como es El\u00edas Bacallado Hern\u00e1ndez,\u00a0<\/strong>quien fuera durante mucho tiempo alcalde de El Rosario. En un momento determinado, all\u00e1 por el a\u00f1o 2014, a su hijo, El\u00edas Bacallado Cabrera\u00a0<\/strong>(o a alg\u00fan otro inteligente que no dio la cara pero que a\u00fan debe estarlo lamentando) se le ocurri\u00f3 prescindir de El Cotarro\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>y el Diario de Avisos\u00a0<\/em>se qued\u00f3 con su veterana, popular y (est\u00e1 mal que yo lo diga) muy le\u00edda p\u00e1gina dominical.<\/p>\n
