Un gran empresario, chef, viticultor, bodeguero, en\u00f3logo y sumiller, pero, sobre todo, excelente padre, gran amigo y, repito, mejor persona. <strong>Mario Torres<\/strong> ha sido uno de los grandes profesionales de la cocina, la viticultura, la enolog\u00eda, la hosteler\u00eda y la restauraci\u00f3n de Tenerife y Canarias, hecho a s\u00ed mismo y triunfando merecidamente por m\u00e9ritos propios. Desde su iniciativa, su esfuerzo y trabajo, como empresario y como chef, se ha forj\u00f3 a lo largo del tiempo la realidad del recordado restaurante <em>\u201cLos Corales\u201d<\/em>, que luego pas\u00f3 a denominarse <em>\u201cEl Calderito de la Abuela\u201d<\/em> y que contin\u00faa triunfando, ahora de la mano de sus hijos, <strong>Mario<\/strong> y <strong>Fabi\u00e1n<\/strong>, al igual que <em>\u201cLa Bodeguita de Enfrente\u201d<\/em>. El propio <strong>Mario<\/strong> segu\u00eda al pie del ca\u00f1\u00f3n en <em>\u201cEl Lagar Donde Mario\u201d<\/em> y en su otra pasi\u00f3n, cuidando sus vi\u00f1as para elaborar su propio vino \u201cTerral\u201d muchas veces galardonado. En el campo de la viticultura ha sido uno de los puntales de la Cofrad\u00eda del Vino de Tenerife. Adem\u00e1s, <strong>Mario Torres<\/strong> ha sido todo un ejemplo para muchos y deja una gran escuela, comenzando por <strong>Mario<\/strong> y <strong>Fabi\u00e1n<\/strong>, que contin\u00faan la gran labor emprendida en su momento por su padre. El bueno de <strong>Mario<\/strong>, nos ha dejado f\u00edsicamente, pero su esp\u00edritu seguir\u00e1 alumbrando sus vi\u00f1as y nuestro trabajo, el de sus hijos y el de todos nosotros, en pro de un mejor futuro para la cocina y viticultura tinerfe\u00f1a y canaria. Un afectuoso y sentido abrazo para sus hijos, <strong>Mario<\/strong> y <strong>Fabi\u00e1n<\/strong>, para toda su gran familia, y para ese mont\u00f3n de amigos que <strong>Mario<\/strong> ten\u00eda y tendr\u00e1 siempre por todos sitios.
