Hace 32 a\u00f1os que se nos fue el gran Pichote<\/strong>, hay que rese\u00f1ar y destacar (cambiando de tercio) que hace 22 a\u00f1os que el gran Lorenzo Dorta Garc\u00eda<\/strong> (Hijo Ilustre de Tenerife) ha estado ocupando hasta hace unos d\u00edas (ojo, sin cobrar un solo euro) la presidencia del Consorcio Daute-Isla Baja, entidad de car\u00e1cter supramunicipal constituida en 1997 por el Cabildo Insular de Tenerife, siendo presidente Ad\u00e1n Mart\u00edn Menis<\/strong>(Q.e.p.d.) y los Ayuntamientos de Buenavista del Norte, Garachico, Los Silos y El Tanque. El incombustible Lorenzo Dorta<\/strong>, que ha pasado por el coronavirus (o mejor dicho, el coronavirus ha pasado por el) estuvo hospitalizado bastante tiempo en su querido HUC, tuvo que pasar por la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI) y ahora, gracias a Dios y felizmente, se recupera poco a poco junto a su leal esposa Bienve Paniagua<\/strong>, a quien Lorenzo<\/strong> (a sus 81 a\u00f1os) confiesa haber conocido ahora m\u00e1s y mejor (sobre todo en su faceta de cocinera) porque durante m\u00e1s de 50 a\u00f1os dedicado a la pol\u00edtica (fue muchos alcalde de Garachico y tambi\u00e9n consejero del Cabildo) se dedic\u00f3 en cuerpo y alma al servicio de la ciudadan\u00eda de Garachico y de Tenerife.<\/p>\n
