Quiero \u201cdesengrasarme\u201d y ayudar, en la medida de lo posible, a que los lectores de <b><i>El Cotarro<\/i><\/b> tambi\u00e9n se \u201cdesengrasen\u00bb. Este domingo voy a hablar en positivo y, desde el recuerdo, hablar de amigos que se fueron y de \u201camigas\u201d que vinieron en otra forma de inmigraci\u00f3n, pero que, de alguna manera, volvieron con ella a la vida. Por ello, mi primer recuerdo de este domingo va para monse\u00f1or <b>Dami\u00e1n Iguacen Borau<\/b> (1916-2020) un peque\u00f1o gran hombre, un peque\u00f1o sacerdote que lleg\u00f3 a ser un inmenso obispo. En 1984 fue nombrado Obispo de la Di\u00f3cesis de San Crist\u00f3bal de La Laguna, conocida como \u201cDi\u00f3cesis Nivariense\u201d y tambi\u00e9n llamada Di\u00f3cesis\u00a0 de Tenerife, cargo que desempe\u00f1\u00f3 hasta el 12 de junio de 1991, cuando la Santa Sede acept\u00f3 su renuncia y pas\u00f3 a ser obispo em\u00e9rito de ella. Con tan solo 104 a\u00f1os de edad, se nos fue tranquilo (seguro que al cielo) el pasado martes, dej\u00e1ndonos una hermosa trayectoria personal, vital y pastoral. Muy pocos d\u00edas antes de morir, fue visitado por nuestro actual obispo, <b>Bernardo \u00c1lvarez<\/b> y mutuamente se dieron la bendici\u00f3n.
