Estos d\u00edas la ciudadan\u00eda lagunera y todos los que aman La Laguna, celebraremos 21 a\u00f1itos de aquella gran declaraci\u00f3n. Otras ciudades \u201chermanas\u201d tienen y cuidan con mimo y desvelo muchos iconos emblem\u00e1ticos que, de alguna manera, se han hecho populares y las representan. Desde \u201cLa Sirenita\u201d de Copenhague, al \u201cManneken Pis\u201d de Bruselas, pasando por \u201cel oso y el madro\u00f1o\u201d de Madrid, el toro de Wall Street, en Nueva York, o una antigua cabina telef\u00f3nica roja de Londres. En La laguna, salvando las distancias, tenemos un curioso farol que, colgado en el N\u00ba52 de la calle de La Carrera, se\u00f1ala que all\u00ed se encuentra, desde 1824 la farmacia <strong>Santos Lecuona<\/strong>. Hoy tenemos que congratularnos porque la, a veces demasiado estricta normativa, haya sido flexibilizada por unos t\u00e9cnicos que, inteligentemente, han sabido ver m\u00e1s all\u00e1 y reconocer el valor y la historia que el farol de la botica encierra.
