Seg\u00fan me comenta <strong>Guillermo Hern\u00e1ndez<\/strong>, estos pilotos llamados \u201cferry pilots\u201d o tambi\u00e9n \u201cdelivery pilots\u201d se dedican a realizar entregas de aviones nuevos a sus clientes, desde las factor\u00edas de aviaci\u00f3n y hacia cualquier parte del mundo. Los aviones se preparan en vac\u00edo para alojar en su interior inmensos tanques de combustible y poder alargar su autonom\u00eda de vuelo. El comandante <strong>Guillermo<\/strong> me explica que los modernos jets intercontinentales, con m\u00e1s de un motor y de transporte de pasajeros, necesitan presentar un despacho de vuelo donde se garanticen varios aeropuertos alternativos situados a cierto tiempo y distancia de la ruta propuesta. <strong>Guido Warnecke \u201c<\/strong>ha dado el salto\u201d apoy\u00e1ndose en Tenerife-Sur. Generalmente han de tener sus aeropuertos alternativos a menos de 180 minutos para respetar ese umbral de tiempo y distancia.
