Pero <strong>Santa Rita II<\/strong> pas\u00f3 de 400 residentes a m\u00e1s de 500, cuando el edificio no estaba preparado para ello y las ampliaciones previstas no estaban terminadas sino con problemas urban\u00edsticos y de legalizaci\u00f3n, por parte del ayuntamiento, que ya en aquel momento presid\u00eda <strong>Marcos Brito Guti\u00e9rrez <\/strong>(CC). Recuerdo que a una alta autoridad responsable del tema en el Cabildo de Tenerife y a otra del Gobierno de Canarias, les manifest\u00e9 personalmente la fragilidad del tema y lo preocupante de la situaci\u00f3n, apunt\u00e1ndoles en aquel a\u00f1o que, si un virus o una salmonella entraba en <strong>Santa Rita II<\/strong>, la gastroenteritis podr\u00eda llevarse \u201cpor lo ba\u00f1os\u201d a muchas de las personas residentes. Recuerdo que una de ellas me dijo que mejor no pensarlo y menos decirlo porque si tuvieran que enviar inspecciones (de permisos de apertura, de sanidad o de seguridad) el edificio seguramente tendr\u00eda que ser precintado.
