Mismamente, el ayuntamiento de Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a trav\u00e9s del Instituto Municipal de Atenci\u00f3n Social (IMAS) renov\u00f3 el pasado mes de febrero de 2019 el convenio con la fundaci\u00f3n canaria Hogar Santa Rita, en virtud del cual, la corporaci\u00f3n chicharrera invierte 50.000 euros para sufragar por espacio de un a\u00f1o la asistencia que la residencia portuense presta a personas mayores de Santa Cruz de Tenerife. En concreto, el concejal que aquel a\u00f1o 2019 firm\u00f3 la renovaci\u00f3n del convenio, \u00d3scar Garc\u00eda Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong> (PP), inform\u00f3 que desde el a\u00f1o 2015 el convenio contribu\u00eda al mantenimiento en Santa Rita de 124 mayores de Santa Cruz de Tenerife (81 mujeres y 43 varones). Algo as\u00ed sucede con el resto de ayuntamiento que, efectivamente, ayudan a la Fundaci\u00f3n Santa Rita,<\/strong> pero indirectamente, est\u00e1n aguantando a esa \u201cbomba\u201d que es el macro-centro. Adem\u00e1s, por si fuera poco, seg\u00fan\u00a0un estudio de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Gerentes y Directores Sociales, Canarias necesita 7.000 plazas sociosanitarias m\u00e1s\u00a0y el Gobierno canario ha reconocido que cuando acabe el actual plan de infraestructuras seguir\u00e1n haciendo falta m\u00e1s plazas.<\/p>\n
