{"id":9559,"date":"2021-02-21T06:50:57","date_gmt":"2021-02-21T06:50:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/elcotarro.com\/?p=9559"},"modified":"2021-02-20T12:42:31","modified_gmt":"2021-02-20T12:42:31","slug":"lorenzo-dorta-18-anos-alcalde-de-garachico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elcotarro.com\/?p=9559","title":{"rendered":"LORENZO DORTA, 18 A\u00d1OS ALCALDE DE GARACHICO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recomiendo que lean el libro de <strong>Carlos Acosta<\/strong> todas las personas que deseen conocer c\u00f3mo es ser alcalde \u201cpor dentro\u201d, a partir de la vida y vivencias de <strong>Lorenzo Dorta<\/strong>, quien, por una \u201cinvitaci\u00f3n\u201d y nombramiento \u201ca dedo\u201d (hay que recordar que eran todav\u00eda los tiempos de la dictadura de <strong>Franco<\/strong>) se convirti\u00f3, con tan solo 30 a\u00f1itos de edad, en alcalde de la Villa y Puerto de Garachico el 22 de septiembre de 1969, y tuvo que compatibilizar con su profesi\u00f3n de maestro de escuela. El libro cuenta cientos de las miles de an\u00e9cdotas que <strong>Lorenzo<\/strong> (siempre acompa\u00f1ado por su esposa y leal compa\u00f1era, <strong>Bienvenida Paniagua<\/strong>) atesora en un mont\u00f3n de documentos, fotograf\u00edas y recuerdos de todo tipo. Comenzando por fotograf\u00edas saludando a casi todas las personalidades que ha conocido durante su etapa de alcalde. A jefes de Estado, desde <strong>Franco<\/strong> a <strong>Juan Carlos I<\/strong> o <strong>Felipe VI<\/strong>, y a todos los presidentes de Gobierno, desde el franquista <strong>Carlos Arias Navarro<\/strong> al socialista <strong>Felipe Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>, sin olvidar a su gran amigo, <strong>Adolfo Su\u00e1rez<\/strong> y muchos otros. Y, por otro lado, una curios\u00edsima colecci\u00f3n de gorros militares y de todo tipo, que ha ido coleccionando en sus muchos viajes. Lo dicho.
