El objetivo es promover la paz y el entendimiento mutuo y prestar servicio en sus comunidades. El movimiento scout ayuda a construir una cultura de paz duradera. \u00bfC\u00f3mo?, pues incorporando las ideas de\u00a0trabajo en equipo, unidad y comprensi\u00f3n intercultural\u00a0en su programa educativo y en las actividades para j\u00f3venes. Solo durante la \u00faltima d\u00e9cada, con la iniciativa emblem\u00e1tica \u201cMensajeros de la Paz\u201d el Movimiento Scout Mundial ha inspirado a scouts de todo el mundo a\u00a0actuar en sus comunidades por la paz y el desarrollo sostenible, contribuyendo con m\u00e1s de 16 millones de proyectos y acciones locales. La semilla que sembr\u00f3 <strong>Robert Baden-Powell<\/strong> sigue muy viva y dando cosecha cada a\u00f1o.
